I just noticed today that a large post from one of my active users broke the IIP that I'm using.
I'm still using UBBT v5.51 with IIP 3.1 I believe.
I have the IIP set to displaying the latest posts from 4 forums in the middle column as follows:
forum 1 = 2 posts forum 2 = 2 posts forum 3 = 1 posts forum 4 = 1 posts
when I went to our main index.php page that is served up by IIP the left column displayed properly but the middle and right columns were missing with only the first post from the first forum showing up on the right of the screen.
I fixed it by editing /pals/configpal.php and limiting forum 1 to displaying only 1 post. it was the 2nd post from this forum that was the large one so trimming this number solved the problem.
however, I don't think I should have to do this to accommodate large posts since I want 2 posts from that forum displaying on the main page.
JustDave, is this a known bug that has perhaps been fixed in a more recent update of IIP?
I'm planning to upgrade to a recent version of UBBT + IIP shortly so it would be good to know this.
thanks,

I don't think it's a current bug or at least I have't seen it reported. What probably happened was there was html being displayed and an open tag messed the rest of the page up? The post's size will not impact the display as far as making things vanish.
